Did you know you can combine sessions? You can! Originally Maddie’s mother wanted to focus on just her for her birthday coming up. A birthday session – how sweet! But then we started brainstorming together and it just…evolved.
I met Kelley in 2010 and we began working closely together at the same photography studio in 2012. If you’ve ever experienced a photography session in a busy corporate-based studio, you’ll know a little bit of where we’re coming from. It’s a little fun. It’s a little chaotic. And it was always best practice to have two photographers in the room. Two sets of eyes to catch mistakes. Two creative minds working together to come up with fun and wonderful poses. Two sets of hands to make things run as smoothly as possible. We’re not kidding when we say we’ve seen it all!
Stepping out of the corporate world, we realized that we wanted to create more than just great portraits. We wanted to create a greater experience than you could get anywhere else. We’ll brainstorm with you to make your session exactly what you’re looking for and we work fluidly as a team no matter what the age. We often joke that we share the same brain, Kelley and I. But it’s because we share a similar background and work ethic. We’re both mothers, first and foremost, and we’ve both felt how stressful it is to walk into a portrait place to get images taken of our family. We have the same high taste in quality and we’ll work together to treat every family or individual as if those were the images that were hanging on our walls.
